A Lady Excise Constable (BPS‑07) is responsible to assist in enforcement of the provisions of excise and taxation laws. She does vehicle inspection, raid, and help anti-smuggling activities. She is obliged to search the female suspects and also the female detainees. She is also able to assist officers with field work, paperwork and dealing with members of the public. Her position demands discipline, physical fitness and collective work among the police forces.
